About WAWE
The World Association for Working Equitation is the international governing body for the discipline, uniting national federations under a shared standard.
“Protect the horse, honour the tradition, and grow the sport for the next generation.”
WAWE sets the international rules, sanctions the world calendar, maintains the world rankings and organises the World Championship. Above all, the association upholds the welfare of the horse as the first principle of every competition.
