WAWE elected the Directive Bodies

The General Assembly of the World Association for Working Equitation (WAWE) was held on Thursday, December 15, and elected, unanimously, the new Social Bodies that will lead the International Working Equitation for Work for the next three years. With the presence of 18 Associations, WAWE unanimously elected its Governing Bodies, where the President of the Portuguese João Ralão Duarte is maintained.

The Governing Bodies will be composed of:

The Working Equitation started as a discipline in the middle ninety’s with 4 countries: Italy, Spain, France and Portugal and currently, WAWE has 22 countries and with a growing number of participants worldwide. This sport is now of great importance in the global equestrian world, not only for the number of riders who captivate different age groups, but also as an important way growth of a certain way of riding in an equestrian context that is now gaining new adepts.

WAWE's new Board will continue this growth process with the responsibility inherent in the current importance of sport, ensuring that it will be done with great commitment.
